I am excited for you to move in your new house, and if you need any help with painting projects, just let me know. I really think you could paint your countertops. Worse case scenario, you hate them and you have to repaint. And the ones in my studio have held up for months, with paint, scissors, hot glue, a three year old etc. Replacing ours was not in the budget. And it was less than $10 for my pantry and less than $50 for my studio (because the stone paint is overpriced) You can't even get plywood that cheap. You can do it, I have faith :)
